We're here to help you get the most out of Cadora.
Cadora is a personal AI fitness coach for macOS. It reads your training and recovery data — from Strava, WHOOP, Apple Health, and your own imports — and tells you what to train today, grounded in your real numbers. If something isn't working or you have a question, the answers below cover the most common topics, and you can always reach us directly.
Email us with any question, bug, or feedback. Please include your macOS version and a short description of what happened — it helps us help you faster.
We aim to reply within 2–3 business days.
Cadora is a menu-bar and Dock app for macOS. It connects to the fitness data you already have and lets you chat with an AI coach about your training, recovery, and goals. To give you personalised coaching it needs at least one data source — Apple Health, Strava, WHOOP, or an imported file — and an account (via Sign in with Apple).
Cadora runs on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Cadora uses Sign in with Apple. On first launch, choose "Sign in with Apple" and follow the prompt. You can choose whether to share your name and email; the coaching works either way.
Open Settings inside Cadora and choose the service you want to connect. You'll be taken to that service's own secure login to authorise access. Cadora requests read-only access and never modifies your data on those services.
When prompted, grant Cadora permission to read the health categories you're comfortable sharing (workouts, heart rate, HRV, sleep, and similar). Cadora only reads from Apple Health — it never writes data back. You can change or revoke this any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Cadora computes every factual number and date about your history directly from your own data, rather than relying on another app's badges. Differences usually come from how segments and best-effort windows are calculated. If a figure looks wrong, email us the activity and what you expected — we want these to be exactly right.
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account and any connected-service tokens from our backend, and clears your local profile and chat history. The action is permanent.
Wherever possible, your data stays on your Mac — your imports, workout history, and chat history are stored locally. To generate coaching replies, the text of your message and a summary of relevant fitness context are sent securely to our backend and AI provider. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use tracking SDKs. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Open Settings, find the connected service, and choose to disconnect. This removes Cadora's stored access for that service. You can revoke Apple Health access separately in macOS System Settings.
Make sure Cadora has microphone permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, and that macOS dictation is enabled. Reopen the app after changing permissions.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, open System Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions, or visit your Apple account. For refund requests, use Apple's Report a Problem page. We're happy to help with anything else by email.
Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you. Feature requests and feedback are genuinely welcome — Cadora gets better because of them.
